Description
The saw mill located north of the Mill House is likely from the early 19th century and has been repurposed as a garage. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof with a yellowed brick chimney stack. The building is single storey and consists of four bays. The central entrance has a plank door set in an alternate-block surround, and there are casement windows with wooden surrounds. At the rear, there is a wheel-house covered with a corrugated iron roof, which houses an iron water wheel. Inside, there is a long saw bench against the rear wall, along with a saw blade and wheel gearing. A right-angled extension made of corrugated iron to the left is not of particular interest.
