Description

The barn located to the east of Howe Top Farmhouse is a separate two-storey building constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof. The upper section features a ramp leading from the lane to the barn, while the gable end is adorned with arrow slits. The lower section, which faces the farmhouse, contains shippons with a dripstone above and a hay loft that has slits for ventilation. This barn is built into the hillside in a traditional manner.
