Description
Yew Tree House is a house that likely dates back to the early 18th century, with a later addition. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The east elevation has two storeys and consists of three bays plus two additional higher bays. The windows have chamfered reveals. On the ground floor, there is a horizontally sliding sash window in the first bay leading to the hall, along with a fire window to the south. The third bay has a sash window with single glazing bars. The first floor has square windows with casements in the first three bays, while the fourth and fifth bays have sash windows with single glazing bars. The entrance to the second bay features a half-glazed door, and the fourth and fifth bays have entrances, with the fifth bay having a wide-boarded door. The house has three gable-end stacks. At the rear, there is a gabled wing and an outshut under a catslide roof, with an entrance located at the north end of the first floor.
