Description

The pump and trough located at the end of the open courtyard of Lowther Village date from the late 18th century. They are made of red sandstone. The structure features a square column set on a concrete plinth, which has a projecting water spout at the front, topped with a shaped cap. In front of the column, there is a rectangular stone trough on the ground.
