Description

Denton House is an early 19th-century house constructed of painted stucco and topped with a graduated greenslate roof featuring coped gables and kneelers, along with roughcast chimney stacks. The building has 2½ storeys and consists of four bays. It has a 20th-century door and sash windows, with the upper floor windows featuring glazing bars, all set within painted stone surrounds. The side wall also includes a 20th-century door and sash windows on two levels, all in painted stone surrounds. This large building faces the village green and is noted for its contribution to the townscape.
