Description

Christopher North's Cottage and Old Elleray, built in 1834, consists of two low storeys made from cement-rendered stone rubble, topped with an old slate roof. The original central gabled porch features two windows on the ground floor and three above, with the upper windows being 12-paned sashes and the lower ones modern but equipped with old horizontal dripstones. To the right, there is a single-storey extension with two very long windows that extend the full height. To the left, another extension rises two storeys, containing a door and a small-paned sash window on each floor.
