Description
Lowfield, possibly dating from the 17th century, features a former cottage adjoining to the northeast and has undergone later alterations. The building is two storeys tall and has long, low proportions. It is roughcast over stone rubble and has a flag roof with four chimneys. The rear of the main building has twin gables above a porch, which includes a round arch, an upper pointed arched window, and a stair window. There are small sash windows present. The former cottage to the northeast is also two storeys with low proportions, roughcast, and has a slate roof with three chimneys. It features four 16-paned sash windows on the upper floor, two below, and a small-paned former door in a timber-arched porch with a cornice.
