Description

The limekiln, located to the northwest of Kentmere Hall, is possibly from the 18th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed rubble and has a square plan with an arched opening. The chimney is blocked but seems to be octagonal in shape, and the structure has a flat top. It is built into the side of a hill, contributing to the landscape feature of the area.
