Description
This is a threshing barn, now used as a barn, located to the south of Brockstones Farmhouse. It is probably from the 18th century and features a later rear aisle. The walls are made of stone rubble, and the roof has graduated greenslate over the farmyard, with corrugated asbestos at the rear and blue glazed ridge tiles. The barn has five bays and includes boarded wagon doors at the main front, along with smaller similar doors in a pent roof extension on the right. Inside, there are four simple principal rafter trusses. The building is listed for its group value.
