Description
This is a threshing barn, probably built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared red sandstone and features a stone flagged roof. The barn has a three-bay main structure with central threshing doors, while opposing doors at the rear are concealed by a later gabled extension. The roof extends over an 'aisle' extension to the northwest, which includes a doorway that is part of the original build. There is a two-light mullioned window with a hoodmould in the gable wall, along with traces of a similar window that has been blocked. A square loft entry is located in the gable apex. On the south side, there is a wing that is a somewhat later addition, made from a different sandstone and brick. The interior has not been inspected.
