Description

This is a 17th-century farmhouse with an attached barn. The farmhouse is constructed of whitewashed stone rubble with a slate roof. It is two storeys high, though quite low in height. The front facade, which faces the farmyard, has a boarded door under a gable hood. There are two small square windows and a catslide roof extending down to a scullery on the left side. The front facade also has two windows on each floor; three of these windows are 12-paned sashes, and one is 32-paned, with a dripstone above the ground-floor window. A barn is attached to the left side of the farmhouse, with a right-angled portion that contains bee boles. Thrang Farmhouse, Thrang Barn and the nearby Thrang form a group.
