Description
The Britannia Inn is a 17th-century building located in Elterwater. It is constructed from white-washed stone rubble and roughcast, topped with a slate roof, and features two low storeys. The inn has a small gabled porch and displays four small-paned sash windows on the ground floor, with three more above, all arranged in an irregular pattern. On the left end, there is a small recessed wing that includes a sash window on the upper floor and a right-angled bay window below. At the rear, there is a gabled wing.
