Description
Bridge End is a 17th-century building in Langdales, Elterwater, originally listed as Bridge End Cottage. It is constructed of white-washed stone rubble with a flag roof. The building has two low storeys and an end chimney. There are three small casement windows on the ground floor, each with a continuous dripstone, and two small casements above. A former stable, now a garage, is attached to the right-hand end. A door is located on the left-hand gable, with a rear wing set into the hillside. For group context, see the general group description for Elterwater.
