Description
This is a barn located immediately to the north-west of Elderbeck, likely built in the 18th century but containing earlier elements. The barn features a stone rubble construction topped with a slate roof. The south elevation includes ventilation slots and a blocked segmental-headed barn entrance, along with inserted windows at the western end. The eastern end is taller, featuring a window that has been added to a blocked triangular-headed entrance, as well as an inserted garage door. On the north elevation, there is a first-floor entrance accessed by steps, along with various entrances and windows, including another segmental-headed barn entrance. The lintel is inscribed with "IW 1681".
