Description

Exmoor House Hotel, located at No. 12 West Street in Dunster, features a well-preserved early 19th century facade. The building is constructed of stucco and topped with a slate roof that has wide bracketed eaves and rusticated quoins. It stands two storeys tall and includes three sash windows with glazing bars, which have cambered head openings and moulded shouldered architraves with keys, supported by cills on brackets. There is a later wooden casement window in a similar but wider opening on the ground floor to the left, set in a flat-headed opening with stepped voussoirs. The central entrance features a semi-circular headed door opening with a panelled door.
