Description

Coombe headstone, located approximately 10 metres south of the nave of the Church of St. Mary, is a headstone from the late 17th century to early 18th century, commemorating John Coombe. Made of granite, it is an upright slab with a shaped head, standing about 600mm high. The front features a coarse inscription in large bold capitals, recording the burial of John Coombe, although the date is not visible.
