Description

Ash House, located approximately 5 metres south-west of Parford House, is a building from the late 17th century or 18th century that was converted into a summer house in the early 20th century. It is constructed from granite stone rubble and features large, roughly-shaped quoins. The roof is corbelled granite covered with thatch and has a circular plan with a conical shape. There is an original doorway on the south-west side and a window on the north side. To the left of the doorway, a 3-light window with dressed but plain granite mullions was added during the early 20th century conversion. The doorway and windows do not have any joinery.
