Description
The stables located approximately 30 yards south-east of Wisdome House are a stable range with a loft above, dating from the 18th or 19th century, and possibly earlier at the north-west end. They are constructed of granite rubble and feature a corrugated asbestos roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high, with a central doorway that has a flat stone arch. There are 19th-century windows on either side, each with a red brick arch. In the north-west gable end, there is a 17th-century two-light hollow-chamfered stone mullion window with a hoodmould. The south-east end has been rebuilt around the 19th century. The stables face the farmyard and are included for their group value.
