Description
This is a cart shed located about 10 metres south-east of Jordan Manor, dating from the 19th century or earlier. It is constructed from granite rubble and features a corrugated-iron roof. The building is one storey high with a loft in the roof space. The lower part of the south-east gable end is open, supported by two heavy granite lintels and a thick monolithic granite post in the centre. Above this, there is a 19th-century loft window that contains a three-light iron casement with patterned iron glazing bars. Notably, this window does not appear in a photograph of the cart shed taken in 1929. The cart shed is included in the listing for its group value.
