Description
Ash House is a small building located about 40 metres north-east of Bullaton Farmhouse. It likely dates from the early 19th century or earlier and is constructed from granite. The building has a rectangular plan and features a corbelled, domed roof made of granite. The doorway has a flat lintel formed from a single stone. The left-hand jamb consists largely of another large piece of granite, which includes two iron hinge-crooks, likely intended for a door on the outer face. The right-hand jamb has a small iron hoop and a small round hole cut into the granite, possibly for a fastening device.
