Description
Stentifords Cross is a boundary stone located about 70 metres south-east of Hemsworthy Gate Crossroads in Widecombe-in-the-Moor. It is probably from the 18th century or earlier. The stone is a roughly dressed piece of granite set into the junction of two drystone walls. On the south-west face, there is a carved cross with the letters RM beneath it.
