Description

The boundary stone located at SX 688 829 in Chagford is a large parish boundary marker, likely dating from the early 19th century. Made of granite, it stands approximately 800 mm high and has an irregular shape with mostly straight sides. Both sides of the stone feature large, bold capital letters. The inscription on the north-west side reads "CHAGFORD," while the south-east side reads "MORETON."
