The parish boundary stone, located at SW 752424 SE between the original Chacewater and Gwennap parishes, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and is a monolith, roughly hewn with an inscription that has broken off. This stone marks not only the parish boundary but also the mineral rights of local landowners.
