Description

Bennet's Cross is a wayside cross and parish boundary marker, likely dating from the 15th century. It stands approximately 1.3 metres high and is made from a single piece of granite. The cross is crudely shaped, featuring small stubby arms and a shaft that is not straight. The initials "WB" are carved on the front at the intersection of the arms.
