Description
Butterbrook House is a house that was formerly a rectory, dating from the early 19th century. It features a reused 16th-century porch, which may have come from an earlier house on the site or been imported. The building is constructed of rendered granite and has a low-pitched slate roof with gabled ends. It is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with sash windows, some of which have glazing bars. To the left of the centre, there is a glazed door that is sheltered by the 16th-century granite porch, which has a moulded four-centred arch with carved spandrels and a moulded label. The house also has brick ridge and end chimneystacks, as well as a stair projection and outshut at the rear.
