Description

No. 2 Hurst Court is a house that may have originally been the rear wing of No. 43 East Street. It likely dates from the 17th century or earlier. The building features very thick roughcast walls and a slated roof, with a large rendered chimney on the right gable end. It has two storeys, with a central doorway flanked by a window on either side. To the left of the doorway, there is a blocked entrance that has been converted into a window, and another window to the left of that. On the upper storey, there are two widely spaced windows, which are 2-light casements, typically with two or three panes.
