Description

This is a pair of headstones located approximately half a metre east of the south transept of the Church of St Peter in Peter Tavy. The headstones are dated 1785 and 1778, commemorating Mary Foot and her son William. The left-hand headstone for Mary features a curved top designed to include a winged angel's head on either side. The larger headstone for William is carved in the form of a large angel's head, which is partly broken, with wings on either side.
