Base of former cross, now with a yew tree growing out of the middle. Medieval. Granite ashlar. Stepped octagonal base about a metre high. Projecting, chamfered plinth, the top of each of the 2 steps projecting slightly and chamfered. Source: E M Phillips in Transactions of Devonshire Association, 1937, p.329.
