Description
New Park is a cottage built in the early to mid 19th century. It has solid walls, likely made of stone, which are covered with roughcast, except for the front that is hung with slate. The roof is steeply pitched and slated, with a projecting chimneystack featuring offsets on each gable wall. The building has a symmetrical, double-depth plan, with the rear section covered by a catslide roof. It is two storeys high and has a front that is two windows wide. All windows are fitted with 2-light wood casements, with 6 panes per light on the ground floor and 4 panes per light on the upper floor. There is a central plank door leading into a porch that has solid walls and a slated pitched roof. The side wall facing the road includes a single metal-framed window from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
