Description

Ye Olde Glebe House is an early 19th-century house and shop located in Widecombe-in-the-Moor. It is constructed of granite rubble with a slate roof, featuring large stacks on each gable. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the original front range, now serving as a shop, initially comprising two rooms. The front facade is symmetrical with three windows, although the central doorway and outer windows on the second storey are now blocked. The remaining windows have casements with glazing-bars. The shop’s interior retains a stone-flagged floor and a large, plain granite fireplace with an oven at the back.
