Description
Rugglestone Inn is a public house, likely built in the 18th century or early 19th century, with later additions to the right and at the rear. The building is constructed of granite rubble and features a slated roof. It has large projecting chimneystacks on each gable wall and a single-depth plan with a later rear wing. The inn stands two storeys high and is four windows wide, showcasing 19th-century casements of varying sizes with glazing bars. The right-hand ground-storey window has a granite lintel that projects slightly as a dripstone. The doorway, located off-centre to the left, features an old plank door and a slated wooden hood, which is likely a late 19th-century addition. The interior has not been inspected.
