Description

This is a pair of headstones located approximately 7 metres south-south-east of the Church of St Peter. The headstones are dated 1772 for John and Elizabeth White and 1761 for Elizabeth Rice. They are made of slate. The White headstone features a shallow nowy head with a crude figure holding an hourglass and a scythe. The Rice headstone has a deep nowy head carved with a long case clock, which is flanked by a winged angel's head.
