Description
The double head-stone, dated 1718 and 1722, is located approximately 4 metres south-west of the porch of the Church of St. John the Baptist in North Bovey. It is made from a single granite slab featuring a double inverted curve at the top, with a raised semi-circle in the center and a groove running around the edge. Although the writing is illegible, the two dates indicate that it likely commemorates a husband and wife or close relatives.
