Description

The cross shaft base located in the churchyard of the Church of St George, approximately 25 meters south of the chancel, dates back to the medieval period. It is made of limestone and features an octagonal shape with jewelled stops. The base has a large octagonal hole in the center designed to accommodate a cross shaft.
