Description

The cross shaft base, located in the churchyard of the Church of St Nicholas, dates from the medieval period and is made of limestone. It features a square base with a flat chamfer at the bottom, which rises to form an octagonal shaft that is now missing. The top of the base has diamond stops. This structure is situated approximately 3 metres northwest of the church porch.
