Description

Abbey Terrace is an early 19th century house in a row, located on Gloucester Road in Tewkesbury. It is built with Flemish bond brickwork, topped with a tile roof and featuring a brick stack. The house has a double-depth plan, spanning two storeys and an attic, with a single window visible from the front. The ground and first floors feature 16-pane sash windows set within brick voussoirs. A small dormer window with a raked two-light casement is set within the mansard roof, behind a coped parapet. A 19th-century four-panel door is situated on the left-hand side, with a two-pane transom light in a fluted surround, and is sheltered by a brick arch. To the right of the door is access to a basement opening. A tall brick stack is positioned on the right side of the building. The upper seven courses of the parapet brickwork appear to have been rebuilt or extended from an earlier eaves level. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
