Description

These are three cottages, formerly part of Sudeley Hill Farm, dating to the 17th and 19th centuries. The structure is built of cut and squared limestone, with some areas rendered, and has a stone slate roof, supplemented by tiles on a rear slope. There are three ridge stacks and one stack to the back eaves. The roof returns, with a hipped end to the rear of number 1.

The building has a complex layout, featuring a narrow central courtyard facing the road, arranged in a U-shaped plan. The street front is one-and-a-half storeys high for numbers 2 and 3, and two-and-a-half storeys high for number 1. The left gable has a two-light window over a three-light window, both with wooden frames and dripstones. A two-light gabled dormer is above a small two-light casement, while a partially glazed 19th-century panelled door is in the centre. A small single light window is on the right gable, the ground floor light being blocked. Within the courtyard, the left side has a three-light and one-light casement, along with a plank door. The right side has a 19th-century three-light window under a wooden lintel, replacing a former door, and a two-light chamfered mullion casement at the eaves. A return wall to the right features various casements, including a first-floor, two-light chamfered mullion with leading. The rear of the building is two-and-a-half storeys high, with two- and three-light wood mullioned casements, and a 20th-century flat-roofed extension.

Internally, number 2 has a large bressummer fireplace, while number 3 features heavily chamfered beams and stopped-chamfered joists. The building was noted to be in some decline at the time of survey.
