Description

This is a large pedestal tomb located approximately 2.5 meters from the north-east corner of the chancel at the Church of St Peter. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a pyramid top with a moulded edge, a frieze, reeded corners, and elliptical inscription panels. It has a cavetto base and was formerly enclosed by railings. The inscriptions on the tomb were not legible at the time of the survey.
