Description
No 54 on Gloucester Street is a house at the end of a row, likely originating from the 18th century but featuring a 19th-century facade. It is constructed from coursed and squared limestone and has a stone slate roof that continues with No 52, although there is a straight joint at the party wall. A tall brick stack is located at the right gable, while the back slope of the roof is covered with plain tiles. A parallel range has been added later. The house is one and a half storeys high and has two windows, with gabled dormers that feature sashes and glazing bars. The sashes also have glazing bars. There is a late 20th-century glazed door on the left. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
