Description
This is a sundial located in the churchyard approximately 40 metres east of the Church of St. Leonard, dating from the 18th century and set on a 19th-century base. It is made of limestone and features an iron finial and gnomons. The sundial has a square stone with a small gable above each face. The south side displays a conventional sundial, although the gnomon is missing. The right and left sides feature morning and afternoon sundials, with a hollow moulding below. Each side of the top step of the base is inscribed in Gothic script, with the following phrases: east side reads "Man goeth forth to his work," south side states "children of Light," west side says "The night cometh," and north side proclaims "A rest for the people of God." The sundial is topped with a quadrupod finial.
