Description
Two headstones located approximately 13 to 14 meters north of the tower in the churchyard of St Mary, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, are made of limestone.
The first headstone, which is closer to the tower, features a slightly cambered top and is richly carved with a cherub head and a scrolly cornucopia. Although the inscription is not legible, a survey from 1879 records it as belonging to someone named Harris.
The second headstone is situated about 2.5 meters northeast of the first. It also has a slightly cambered top and displays a good rococo cartouche beneath an open book, flanked by two cherub heads. The inscription on this headstone is also not legible.
