Description
The Vick family monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 1 metre east of the monument to Silvanus Vick, and to the south of the Church of St. John. It dates from 1821 and is made of limestone. The tomb has a square shape with attached Doric columns at the corners that rise from a plinth and support a reeded top. Above this is a moulded pyramid coping that holds a funereal urn. There are raised shield inscription panels on the north and south sides, and oval panels on the east and west sides, inscribed with the names of various members of the Vick family.
