Description

This is a 17th and 18th century building on the south side of High Street. It is rendered and stands two storeys high. The building features a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a 19th-century oriel window on the first floor. The ground floor has been modernised. The roof is slate, with sprocketing and projecting purlins. A corner has been taken on an irregular squinch. Numbers 32 to 36 High Street form a group of historical and architectural importance as they are the only surviving buildings surrounding The Cross, which was the historic centre of the town.
