Description

This is a lamp post located to the south of The Lodge in King's Stanley, dating from the mid to late 19th century and originally created for S.S. Marling. It is made of cast and wrought iron and features a triangular section with open ironwork that includes latticed trefoil-work. The tall shaft has decorative scroll-work leading up to a multi-faceted lamp case, which is topped with a brattished design and a tall finial. This lamp post is part of a group with The Lodge.
