Description
The Spring Building, previously known as the Conduit Building, is an 18th-century structure located approximately 300 meters southeast of St. Peter's Grange. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has a rectangular shape with a pedimented front gable and a central doorway topped by a triple keystone, which leads to a plank door. The front corners are accentuated with chamfered quoins, and there is a chamfered plinth. A cornice runs along the sides, which are otherwise plain. The rear elevation is gabled and includes a small plain opening built into the bank. The interior features a tunnel vault and a brick-lined water hole in the floor. Although partially in ruins, the stonework is of high quality and remains in good condition.
