Description
This building is a barn and stable located immediately south-west of Wishanger Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone, primarily built dry, with an ashlar chimney and a stone slate roof. The barn and stable feature a north porch. The south front has two half gables, each with a two-light trefoil-headed loft window. There is a single trefoil-headed lancet window on the west gable end. The north side has an off-centre gabled porch that includes a 20th-century garage door beneath a timber lintel, with a trefoil-headed lancet window above. On either side of the porch, there are chamfered openings leading to two doorways; the left side has a 20th-century glazed door, while the right side has a plank stable door. The interior has not been inspected.
