Description
Marsh Lodge is a detached house built around 1830. It features ashlar limestone and roughcast render, with ashlar chimneys and a Welsh slate roof. The house is two stories tall with an attic, and there is a flat-roofed rear addition that is not of special interest. The front of the house has three windows, all of which are 16-pane sashes in plain openings, with the ground floor windows being larger. The central doorway has a moulded four-panel door and a rectangular light above it, along with a glazed porch addition. The sides of the house are rendered and have gable-mounted chimneys. The north side has 20th-century windows, except for a small-paned attic casement with a segmental arch. The sashes have panelled shutters.
