Description

The Vicarage is a mid-18th century house with an attached house to the east (Glebe House). An alteration and addition were made in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed and squared limestone, with ashlar chimneys and a plain tile roof. It is two storeys with an attic, and follows a double pile plan.

The front elevation has a five-window arrangement, with all windows being 12-pane sashes, each with a moulded timber architrave and plain stone lintel. The central doorway has a moulded four-panel door and a moulded flat porch hood supported by shaped brackets. Three gabled roof dormers are present, each containing a timber casement. The gable ends have chimneys with plain caps. The rear of the building has a lower, two-storey block with a parallel roof, featuring casement windows with plain stone lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
