Description
The Lord family monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard approximately 5 meters southwest of the south transept of the Church of St Martin. It dates from the late 18th century and features inscriptions added in the 19th century. The monument is made of limestone and has a rectangular shape with enriched moulded ends, including fronds on the eastern side. The north side panel is adorned with an egg and dart border. It has a moulded plinth and a moulded top with high decorative coping. The inscriptions, which are in a later sans serif capital style, commemorate members of the Lord family.
