Description

The village cross, located on the south side of The Street in Horsley, features a 14th-century base with a replacement shaft from around 1920. It is made of limestone and has a square base. The octagonal shaft supports a gabled head that contains a niche with a depiction of the Crucifixion. The cross has been restored and serves as a war memorial.
